SRINAGAR: After a month-long dry spell in the Kashmir region, snowfall has begun in the Peer Ki Gali in Shopian District along the Mughal Road.
Meanwhile, the weatherman has predicted isolated to scattered light rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir in the next few days.
The Meteorological Office has issued an advisory from January 28-31, warning of temporary road closures in higher reaches and important passes like Sinthan Pass, Mughal Road, , Zojila, Sadhna and Razdan Pass
Travelers are advised to plan accordingly, as per a statement from a meteorological department official.
Moreover, on February 1, there is a possibility of light rain or snow at scattered places. (KS)
