A group of PhD Scholars from Kashmir on Wednesday appealed J&K administration to facilitate their return from Indoor Madhya Pradesh in wake of COVID-19 outbreak.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the PhD scholars of DAVV Indore told they are in distress as no one came to their rescue. They appealed authorities to ensure a special air service for Kashmir based students studying in several parts of the country so that they can return to Valley.

They added that students are voluntarily willing to keep themselves in quarantine for the safety of the entire community.

They also said the concerned university has been closed in view of Covid-19 and they are stuck and can’t move outside as all roads are sealed and closed, besides suspension of air services.

A PhD Scholar Inayat Hussian said students are facing a tough time and the whole country is under lockdown and appealed government of Jammu and Kashmir to help them and facilitate way so that they will rerun to their native places.
