Physical Education to be Compulsory Subject in JK Schools

Students will have to study Physical education as a ‘compulsory subject’ from class 6th to 8th in every school. The subject may be included from 2015-16 Session, sources said.

State Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Imran Raza Ansari said during a review meeting of his department in Jammu on Friday.

“For 9th and 10th standard students, the subject shall be included from 2016-17 Session,” they said.
