A plantation drive was launched at Armed Police Complex Zewan on Monday.
Commandant JKAP 9th Bn Zewan Shailender Singh, Hamidullah Sheikh, Mumtaz Ali, Fariz Hussain and Inspector Farooq Ahmad of JKAP 9th Bn were presented on the occasion.
“The main aim of plantation drive is to keep APC Zewan Green and Clean,” they said.
Meanwhile, Commandant JKAP 9th Bn Zewan also inaugurated Inter-Coy Volley Ball Tournament at APC Zewan.
“Total number of six teams is participating in the said tournament,” an official said.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant said, “the main aim of organising such tournament is to provide leadership/ Sportsmen ship quality to the officers and Jawans of the battalion and to keep them physically as well as mentally fit for performing stress free Law and Order duties.”
Commandant JKAP 9th Bn at this occasion also released Annual Sports/ cultural, educational activities calendar.
