Amit Shah on Friday during his two-day visit to the UT released BJPs Manifesto and made 25 promises to the people of the region. He will return soon to hold rallies in Rajouri and Poonch districts.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold two rallies  in the Ramban and Banihal Assembly constituencies on Sunday. He will return to New Delhi in the evening.

The Prime Minister’s visit will be the third high-profile visit after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah to Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Assembly polls.

The party is contesting all 43 Assembly seats in Jammu division. It is also in fray on many seats of the Kashmir valley.

More senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers are expected to tour Jammu and Kashmir for the election campaign.

Amit Shah’s next tour for the election campaign will be in Rajouri and Poonch districts where he could address one rally each.
