Srinagar police arrested a drug peddler while selling charas in Batamaloo Bus stand, police said on Tuesday.
On a tip off, Srinagar police arrested a drug peddler Abdul Rashid Malik @ Sheeda Narbalee son of Habib-ul-lah Malik resident of SD Gulab Colony Batamaloo while selling Charas in general Bus stand Batamaloo.
Police said that the contraband Charas was also recovered from his possession.
A case FIR no. 19 /2015 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered against the peddler in police station Batamaloo and investigation has been taken up.
