Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrest three “stone pelters” from Wanbal Rawal Pora area of Srinagar, last night.
An official said that they have arrested three stone-pelters who were pelting stones at forces deployed near Wanbal Rawalpora. The trio are being identified as Suhaib Ahmad Dar, 13, son of Mehraj din, a resident of Mochwa. Javaid Ahmad Wani 15, son of Aijaz Ahmad Wani, a resident of Mochawa Bagh I Mehtab Srinagar and Waseem Ahmad Allahie, son of Ghulam Nabi Allahier. A resident of Gogo Humhama.
The official added that Waseem sustained leg and arm injuries after he was chased by police near the railway track. However, he is said to be stable now and three of them have been lodged in Police Station Rangreth, Srinagar.
