Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have arrested four drug peddlers in Pulwama and recovered 70.6 kilograms of poppy straw from their possession.
A spokesman in a statement said that acting on specific information, Pulwama police headed by SDPO Litter Shri Ghulam Hassan apprehended four drug peddlers and recovered 70.6 kilograms of poppy straw from their possession at Lasipora area.
A case FIR number 10/2018 under NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Litter and investigation has been taken up.
SSP Pulwama has sought co-operation from the general public for information regarding storage and transportation of drugs in Pulwama.
