One beacon constable was injured after suspected militants hurled grenade on Beacon Camp at Verinag area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Monday evening.
Official sources said that suspected militants hurled a grenade and followed with firing on beacon camp at Verinag resulting injuries of beacon constable identified as Pintu Sharma.
The injured constable has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, an official confirmed that it was a power generator blast, not a grenade attack. During the incident, a beacon constable has sustained injuries and is said to be stable now.
