In a continued action against drug peddlers and drug abusers, Safakadal Police arrested 3 youths who were under the influence of drugs near Pampoosh Colony Safakadal on Thursday.
Police said that the youth tried to run away while noticing the movement of Police Patrol. However the police managed to arrest them.
“Upon their search 90 Tablets of controlled drug misused by drug abusers Alprax (Alprozome),110 Tablets of Stimat (prachloro parazine) and 26 very small packets of contraband substance which apparently seems to be Brown Sugar (Di-Acetyl Morphine) wrapped in crude paper were recovered from their possession,” police said.
The arrested youth have been identified as Abdul Majeed Ganai son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Pampoosh Colony Safakadal, Muhammad Rafiq Kaloo son of Abdul Rehman from Rakh Colony Safakadal and Shabir Ahmad Dar son of Ali Muhammad resident of Nasrullah pora Budgam.
A case vide FIR number 6/2014 under section 21 NDPS was registered against them in Police Station Safakadal.
