Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a bootlegger and recovered 72 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
“During naka checking at Pantha Chowk, Srinagar police intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK12C-2530 driven by Mohammad Abdullah Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar resident of Patrigam Pulwama. On checking, 72 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the vehicle, ” a police spokesman said.
“Srinagar police has registered a case and investigation has been taken up,” he said.
