Kulgam police on Sunday has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 22 Kilograms of cannabis powder from his possession.
The spokesman said acting on an information, Kulgam police laid a naka at Nagbal Frisal, in the jurisdiction of Police Post Frisal and during the checking, 22 Kilograms of cannabis powder was recovered from the peddler’s possession.
The drug has been identified as Abdul Gani Ganie son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie, a resident of Frisal Kulgam.
In this regard, a case was registered against him in Police Station Yaripora and investigation was taken up.
