“Anantnag Police have attached the property, i.e., a single-storey house of notorious drug peddler Azad Ali Khan under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, 1985. Police said Khan was found involved in multiple narcotics cases registered at Police Station Mattan,” police spokesperson said in a statement.
The property was identified as illegally acquired during the course of investigation and enquiry conducted by Mattan Police. “It was prima facie established that the property had been acquired through proceeds of illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances,” the statement said.
