SRINAGAR: The property of an active militant was attached in the Wanduna Melhoora area of Zainapora in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
An official said that the property of Adnan Shafi Dar, an active militant and resident of Wanduna, Shopian, has been attached by the police and civil administration. “Adnan Shafi Dar had joined militant ranks after being involved in the killing of a non-local individual.”
“The property was attached in the presence of the concerned Executive Magistrate under Section 25 of the UA(P) Act, in connection with a case registered under FIR number 94/2024 at PS Zainapora.”
The official further noted that this action marks a stringent measure in the ongoing efforts to curb militancy and hold individuals accountable for such heinous acts. (KNO)
