Police Attach Property Worth Rs 2.81 Crore in North Kashmir Under UAPA

   

SRINAGAR: Police on Thursday said that they have attached property worth two crore eighty-one lakh in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The police said they have attached immovable property measuring 18 kanals and 1 marla of land, valuing about Rs 2 crore and 81 lakh, belonging to six accused persons involved in Case FIR No. 33/2022 U/S 121 IPC, 18, 20, 39 UAPA Act, 2/3 E&IMCO Act of Police Station Bandipora.

The details of the attached immovable property (18 kanals and 1 marla of land) are as follows: land measuring 2 kanals 11 marlas under Survey Nos. 1392, 1394, 1458, 1461, 1377, belonging to Mohammad Anwar Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir, resident of Harteng Mantrigam; land measuring 3 kanals 15 marlas under Survey Nos. 194, 195, 234, 388, 389, 8390, belonging to Abdul Rashid Doie, son of Alif Din, resident of Ketson Aloosa; land measuring 3 kanals 9 marlas under Survey Nos. 182, 166, 164, 167343, 375, belonging to Sarfraz Ahmad, son of Mohammad Yousuf, resident of Ketson Aloosa; land measuring 1 kanal 1 marla under Survey Nos. 03, 04, 05, belonging to Mohammad Yousuf Turk, son of Mohammad Shamsuddin Turk, resident of Ketson Aloosa; land measuring 6 kanals 10 marlas under Survey Nos. 3904, 2091, 2092, 39168, 2318, belonging to Mohammad Abdullah, son of Ghulam Ahmad Malik, resident of Aloosa; land measuring 6 kanals 6 marlas under Survey Nos. 2420, 2421, 2426, 2430, 2351, 2352, belonging to Farooq Ahmad, son of Mohammad Ramzan Ganie, resident of Aloosa.

The attachment proceedings were carried out by a police team led by DySP Headquarters Bandipora, Latief Khan – JKPS, SHO Police Station Bandipora, IC PP Aloosa, and the concerned Naib-Tehsildar, along with revenue officials. The execution of this action was witnessed by local residents of the concerned villages, the statement reads. (GNS)
