SRINAGAR: Police in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir have attached an immovable property worth Rs 20.37 lakh belonging to an accused in an NDPS case, reinforcing action against drug trafficking and proceeds of crime.
In a statement, police said that Rajouri Police have attached an immovable property belonging to an accused involved in a narcotics case under the NDPS Act.
The attached property comprises a single-storey residential house worth Rs 20,37,970/belonging to Nahid Choudhary S/o Mohd Shafi R/o Rampur Talwal (Peer Kanju) Tehsil and District Rajouri.
The attachment has been carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act by Police Station Rajouri following due legal procedure.
The aforesaid accused has been arrested in FIR No. 605/2025 under Sections 8, 21, 22 and 29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Rajouri.
Rajouri Police reiterates its firm commitment to combat drug trafficking and to take stringent legal action against those involved in narcotics related offences including the attachment of illegally acquired properties. (KNC)
