SRINAGAR: Police conducted searches on Thursday at the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami members across various locations in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A senior police officer said that Shopian Police conducted raids at multiple locations, including the residences of former Hurriyat leaders, in connection with case FIR No. 9/2024 of PS Shopian under Sections 10 and 13 of the UAPA.
“Searches are ongoing at several locations in the district. Similar raids have been conducted at multiple locations in recent days as well.”
