Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday carried out searches simultaneously at four places in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
“Pursuing leads in the investigation of a case pertaining to subversive activities, police after obtaining search warrants from the competent court carried out searches at four places simultaneously in Budgam district,” said a spokesman, in a statement.
“During searches, an incriminating material including laptop, tablet, smartphones, documents, letters, bank passbooks, cash books, video camera & cassettes were seized,” he said.
All legal formalities have been fulfilled in presence of the magistrate and independent witnesses. Further investigation in the instant case is going on.
