Islamabad police along with a team of Executive Magistrate Larnoo and Excise Department, on Saturday, destroyed poppy cultivation spread on about 45 Kanals of land in different villages falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Larnoo Islamabad.
The spokesman said that a joint team of Police, Executive Magistrate Larnoo and Excise Department launched a drive against the illegal cultivation of poppy in the area
During the drive, poppy spread on 40-45 kanals of land was destroyed by the joint team in Larnoo, Kherpeth and Drawai villages falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Larnoo.
