Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday identified the militants killed in Kachdoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
According to a police statement, the slain militants have been identified as Ishfaq Thokar resident of Paddarpora Shopian, Aitmad Hussain Dar resident of Amshipora Shopian, Aqib Bashir resident of DH Pora Kulgam, Sameer Lone of Hillow Shopian and Gayas ul Islam Thoker of Paderpora.
The spokesman said that It is pertinent to mention here that the body of Sameer was taken out by the locals out of the debris and handed over to his family which was subsequently buried.
“All of them are understood to be part of outlawed HM outfit, and had joined the organisation in last one year; Pertinently Ishfaq Thoker was a key element of HM involved in several attacks on SFs and civilians and was a category A+ militant while the other three were category C militant,” the spokesman added.
