According to police spokesman, during Naka Checking at Chachkoot, Awantipora police arrested Mohammad Akram Sheikh, resident of Tral Bala and recovered 100 bottles of banned drug co-dine from his possession.
However, another accused Shahid Nabi Sheikh @ Iqbal, resident of Brantal, Tral managed to escape from the spot.
Police also seized their motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AL/5519. A case FIR No. 31/2013 under section 22 NDPS act has been registered in this regard.
