Police started investigation into the suspicious death of a person who was found dead in Kulgam.
“Police recovered the body of Manzoor Ahmad Laway son of Abdul Gani resident of Chellan in suspicious condition in Kulgam,” a police statement said Friday evening.
“An investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed to his relatives for last rites,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the statement said that a conductor Tufail Ahmad Zargar of a school bus bearing registration number JK01K-8476 fell from the bus near Army camp Zainakot, Srinagar resulting in his injuries. The injured was shifted to Noora hospital where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment, the statement added.
