Police in Srigufwara area of Bijbehara in Islamabad district on Saturday recovered a dead body.
Identified as Abdul Gani Bokad of Ashder Khiram, the dead body of the slain has been sent to SDH Bijbehara for postmortem. The slain is said to be resident of Reasi, Jammu.
SHO Khiram Police Station Tanveer Ahmed while talking to Kashmir Life said, the person was a nomad from Reasi Jammu, who lived at Ashder Khiram near the shrine.
The body has been taken to sub-district hospital Bijbehara for medico-legal formalities, he said.
Police has registered a case under section 174 case and investigation has been taken up.
