SRINAGAR: An unidentified body was found in the Beighpora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Officials said that locals spotted the body and immediately informed the authorities.
A police team reached the spot and took the body into custody.
The identity of the deceased and the cause of death are yet to be determined, officials said, adding that an investigation is underway.
