Police on Saturday sought the help of the general public to identify a suspect allegedly involved in stealing a two-wheeler in Bemina area of Srinagar.
A police spokesperson in a statement said that police post-Bemina received a written complaint regarding the theft of a blue colour scooty bearing registration number JK01C 4613.
“The complainant Mohammad Shafi Bhat, a resident of MIG Colony sector 03, said his scooty was parked outside his home. “The complainant also provided CCTV footages and a photograph of a suspected person,” said police spokesman.
“In this regard, a case FIR number 251/18 under section 379/RPC has been registered and the investigation has been taken up.”
