Election commission of India Saturday declared the dates for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Voting will be done on 5 phases and counting will be on December 23.

According to reports emerging from New Delhi, the polling days are November 25, December 2, December 9, December 14 and December 20.

However, notification for phase 1 will be issued on November 28 for Jammu and Kashmir, the ECI was quoted as having said.

“ECI in their press conference said that there will be police observers, central observers depending upon needs and sensitivity. Option of NOTA and VAPT will be there. Strict vigil will be there to ensure that money power is not used breaking the law,” reports said.

EC also informed that there will be elaborate arrangements to assist the voters. “EC says that all officers concerned with polls will be in their deputation. The model code of conduct is applicable immediately and will be valid for state government and central schemes in poll bound states,” the reports informed.

In Jammu and Kashmir, There are 87 seats; 7 are reserved for Scheduled Castes. There are 10,015 polling stations.

BJP MUST ERADICATE CORRUPTION FROM COUNTRY AT ALL COSTS & PROVIDE GOOD GOVERNANCE WHICH WILL HELP IN WINNING FUTURE ELECTIONS. THE PEOPLE MUST WATCH PERFORMANCE & COMMITMENT MADE BY BJP TO CURB CORRUPTION & TO CONVICT TO ALL CULPRITS INVOLVED IN CORRUPT PRACTICES. PEOPLE WILL VOTE ACCORDING TO FULFILLMENT OF COMMITMENT MADE IN LAST ELECTIONS.
