One among the five BSF troopers who were injured in cross border shelling at Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district, succumbed injuries.
SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padiyar said that the trooper namely T. Alex Lalminlun of 168BN BSF succumbed to injuries in a military hospital Udhampur.
The trooper was injured along with five other personnel when armies of Indian and Pakistan trade shelling in Krishna Ghati sector.
Apart from Krishna Ghati sector, the officer said that the shelling alps reported in Mankote, Kerni and Degwar. Earlier a 05 year old girl Sobia was killed and 10 civilians were injured during the shelling.(GNS)
