Protest erupted in Naidkhai area of Bandipora district demanding the bodies of militants killed in an encounter.
Reports said as the encounter ended people especially youth assembled in main Chowk Naidkhai and staged pro-freedom protest.
The protestors were raising pro-freedom and pro-militant slogans demanding bodies of the slain militants, reports added.
Earlier two militants were killed in an early morning encounter with forces in Naidkhai area of Hajin town.
The bodies of the slain militants have been kept in police station Sumbal.
