SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Srinagar and Sopore on September 29 and 30.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, power supply will remain affected in several areas on September 30 from 8 am to 2 pm due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Airforce line.
The affected areas include Peerbagh, Cooperative Colony, Jeelanabad, Hyderpora, Nadru, Police Headquarters (PHQ), Airport, Sheikhpora, Friends Colony, Humhama Heights and Tawheed Bagh, besides adjoining areas.
Similarly, power supply will remain affected on September 29 from 8 am to 2 pm due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Delina line.
The affected areas include Amargarh, Seer, Krankshivan Colony, Old Town Sopore, Wagub, Singhpora, Delina, BSF, Kanispora, Kralhar, PHE, Jetty and TC, besides adjoining areas.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to plan their activities accordingly.
