Power Shutdown Schedule Announced for Maintenance and Tree Cutting

   

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, has announced a scheduled power shutdown to facilitate maintenance work on the 33 KV Bemina-Barbarshah TRC Tap line. The shutdown will take place on March 18, from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM. However, no receiving stations or areas will be affected, as this line serves as a backup to the 33 KV Cheshmashahi-TRC Nedous Line.

Additionally, to enable the cutting of poplar trees, the 33 KV Pampore Khanda Tap line will be shut down on March 17, from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM. As a result, the 33/11 KV Receiving Station at Khanda will remain non-operational, affecting power supply in Khanda, Wagoora, Gowherpora, Wadipora, Kultreh, and adjoining areas.

In a separate development, the Chief Engineer, JKPTCL, Kashmir, has announced the shutdown of the 132 KV D/C Delina-Amargarh Transmission Line Circuit-2nd to facilitate the relocation of 132 KV CTs and LAs at Grid Station Delina. This shutdown is scheduled for March 17, from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM, impacting power supply to Sopore, Amargarh, Baramulla, Watergam, and nearby areas.
