SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of power shutdowns across various districts to facilitate essential infrastructure work, including laying of standby supply lines, augmentation, tree cutting, and shifting of electrical utilities.

Bemina and surrounding areas: Power supply to Children Hospital, State Motor Garages, Haj House, Forensic Lab, PC Depot, Qamarwari, Barthana, JVC Hospital, and adjoining areas will be affected from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM due to laying of a standby supply line for the 500-bedded Paediatric Hospital, Bemina.
Pampore Industrial Estates (IE Khrew and IE Wuyan): Shutdown from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM for shifting of 33 KV line from the Court Complex Pampore.

Batwina, Wangipora, Nowgam, Zazna, Ahan, Waskura, Kharbagh, Guzhama, Sumbal, Nesbal, Hajin, Preng, Madwan, Banyar, Hakbara, and adjoining areas: Shutdown of 33KV Badampora Wangipora Tap line and Badampora Army Hakbara line from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM for shifting of electrical utilities.
