SRINAGAR: President of India Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on April 18. He will stay for the night.
Officials said the president has to preside over the convocation of the Mata Vaishno Devi University. He will fly back to Jammu for a dinner that Raj Bhawan would host.
The government has issued orders to 18 of its officers to be part of the liaison contingent during the visit of the President. This is President Kovin’s first visit to the state.
