SRINAGAR: President Droupadi Murmu has revoked President’s rule in Manipur with effect from today, the Home Ministry said.
The move ends the central administration imposed on the state on February 13 last year. A gazette notification issued by the ministry confirmed that President Murmu has revoked the proclamation issued under Article 356 of the Constitution in relation to Manipur.
No further details were provided about the administrative changes following the revocation.
