After the death of infant allegedly after being treated at the private clinic of principal government medical college Jammu, a team of health department on Monday raided the clinic and sealed it after seizing the instruments.

According to local news agency, CNS, the clinic of Dr Aniece Chowdhary was sealed after parents of deceased infant claimed that doctor took Rs 250 at his private clinic to treat the baby..

According to sources, when the clinic, ENT child care was raided by the team, it was locked. The team checked surroundings where they found some surgical instruments, which were seized for testing purpose.

Deputy director health, Dr Balvinder Singh confimed the action and said that  CMO Jammu Dr Javid Chib, Dr Balgit Singh, Tehsildar Jammu and concerned were in the team. He also said that in the clinic they found operation theatre and nursing home which were already closed.

Pertinent to mention that government already has constituted judicial committee to enquire the case.
