The Principal/Dean Government Medical College Srinagar, Prof Kaisar Ahmad, conducted on the spot visit of various associated hospitals Thursday including SMHS Hospital, Lalla Ded Hospital, GB Pant/Children Hospital, Chest Diseases Hospital and took stock of the patient care at these hospitals and availability of staff and medicare facilities.
During the visit vital areas like casualty, triages, intensive care units and indoor wards were visited, an official spokesperson said this evening.
“While appreciating the presence of medics and Para medics in these hospitals and assessing the medical care facilities provided to them, a serious note was taken of some of the delinquent officials who were found missing and against whom strict action was directed to be taken,” the spokesperson said.
