SRINAGAR: Professor Nilofer Khan has been reappointed as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir for a period of two years, effective from May 19, 2025.
An order issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who is also the Chancellor of the University reads, “In exercise of powers vested in me under Section 12(5) of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act, 1969, I, Manoj Sinha, Chancellor, University of Kashmir, hereby reappoint Prof. Nilofer Khan as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir for a period of two (02) years with effect from 19.05.2025, the date of completion of her existing term as Vice Chancellor.”
