Highlighting the significance of collaborative governance, the Chief Minister said, “The progress of Jammu and Kashmir lies in the fact that the JK government and the central government work together for a better future.” He assured the public that his administration would continue to work with the Centre to improve the quality of life for citizens.

The Chief Minister also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to delivering essential services such as drinking water, electricity, roads, healthcare, and education, and stressed the need to complete ongoing development projects. “My priority is to complete the projects already underway and maintain the momentum of development,” he said.

During the event, Dr Jitendra Singh announced a major infrastructure project in memory of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley. CM Omar Abdullah extended his support. “My government will fully support this initiative. One day, people will watch IPL matches live in Jammu and Kashmir, not just on TV.”

The event was also attended by the Chairperson of the District Development Council, MLAs of Kathua, Jasrota, Hiranagar and Bani, Commissioner Secretary of Housing & Urban Development, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, and other senior officials.
