Protests erupt in Islamic University against militant, civilian killings in Tral

The students of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Thursday staged protests within the university campus against the militant and civilian killings in Tral on Wednesday.

Hundreds of students assembled within the campus and raised anti-India, Pro-Freedom and pro-Pakistan slogans, a student informed Kashmir Life.

The students held placards with pictures of Burhan Wani and slogans depicted on them. The protesting students demanded an end to killings in Kashmir.

Witnesses said that slogans like, “Zakir Musa ka kya Paigam, Kashmir Banega Pakistan,” and “Hikmat-e-Salahuddin, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen,” reverberated in the campus.

Protests were going on while this report was being filed.
