After remaining closed for three days scores of students of Kashmir University (KU) on Thursday staged a protest demonstration at the university campus in Hazratbal Srinagar, against the Kashmir killings.
According to sources, the students from various departments assembled marched in University campus Shouted anti-governmental, anti-administration pro-Azadi and anti-India slogans, the protesting students carried banners reading, ‘Stop Genocide’, Free Kashmir’ ‘Stop killings’.
Pertinently, thirteen militants and five civilians were killed in Kashmir after an encounter broke out between forces and militants in Dialgam area of Islamabad and in two separate villages of Shopian district.
