Ruling People’s Democratic Party Sunday has asked for considering ‘healing touch’ for Tanveer Ahmad War, a differently abled youth on whom PSA has been slapped in stone pelting cases and sent to jail.
Reacting to the development, PDP’s youth president, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra has requested chief minister Mehbooba Mufti consider the case of Tanveer in continuation with recent “amnesty for youth”.
“Disagreements apart, requesting HCM @MehboobaMufti for considering the same, keeping in view the recent revival of cases #healingtouch,” Parra tweeted.
This came after J&K Police Sunday while reacting to the statement of JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik questioning slapping PSA on a person for stone pelting who is not able to walk two steps on his feet, insisted the accused “spearheaded violent mob violence in the town pushing young boys to the forefront of trouble endangering their lives”.
