‘PSO Decamps with Four Service Rifles in South Kashmir’

In yet another case, a Personal Security Officer (PSO) of J&K Police decamped with four service rifles in South Kashmir.

Sources said that the PSO was on duty with Dy SP Irshad Ahmad who was recently injured in suspected militant attack in Bijbehara.

The PSO has been identified as Shakoor Ahmad of Kundalan. He was currently posted in SDPO Bijbehara. “He decamped with the rifles last night,” police sources said.

J&K Police spokesperson said that police are on job and investigating the matter, however, he didn’t confirm it.
