Two more militants were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Hanjin village of Rajpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
An official said that two more militants have been killed in the operation and the identity and the group affiliation of the slain militants are being ascertained.
While confirming the news Army spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia in a statement said: “OpBunHajan (Pulwama). Four militants killed. Weapons and warlike stores recovered.”
The gunfight broke out after a joint team of army’s 44RR, 182, 183 CRPF and SOG Pulwama launched cordon and search operation in Hanjin Payeen on Saturday morning.
