Condemning the killing of an innocent civilian Parvaiz Ahmad Guroo of Batapora, Puwlama allegedly at the hands of forces, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (m) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday said the forces “under the garb of gunfight with militants killed an innocent civilian and unleashed a reign of terror by using excessive force on the peaceful protestors”.

Meanwhile, strongly condemning the terror attack on the Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, in the North-Western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, Mirwaiz expressed grief and shock over the incident in which 21 innocent persons got killed and more than 51 injured.

Expressing solidarity with the Government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan on the mindless terror attack of Charsadda, the Mirwaiz said terrorism in any form and at any place was condemnable.

Stressing that there was no place for such inhuman practice of terror in Islam, the APHC-m Chairperson said at a time when common masses in most parts of the world were getting killed in the similar mindless acts of terrorism, and the way terrorism was fast becoming the biggest challenge for the humanity, the international community needs to take united stand against terrorism and make combined efforts to curb this menace.

Playing glowing tributes to the slain militant, Shariq Ahmad Bhat of Pulwama, in a gunfight with forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, Mirwaiz, “said the sacrifices of the martyrs for the just cause of Kashmir was the biggest asset of the on-going resistance movement.”

Elucidating that keeping Kashmir issue unresolved was the main reason of political uncertainty in entire South Asia, the APHC-m Chairperson said, “respecting the sacrifices of the martyrs, the APHC was making serious efforts at all levels to take the resistance movement to its goal by resolving the Kashmir issue as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu Kashmir.”
