South Kashmir’s Pulwama district is observing a complete shutdown on Tuesday against the civilians killing who fell to bullets of forces.

While transport is off the roads, all the shops and business establishments remained closed.

Two civilians including a MA girl student were killed on Sunday after forces opened fire at civilians in a residential area.

Earlier, a militant Adil Ahmad Wagay of Banderpura village was killed on the same day in an encounter with forces in Kakpora. The locals alleged that the firing was ‘unprovoked’.
