One person was “critically” injured when he was hit by a tear gas shell in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Reports and local witnesses said that the person has been identified as Mohammad Yousuf Mir (35) who was hit by a tear gas shell in head.
Intense clashes were reported from Kakpora between forces and locals today.
Protests erupted in Kashmir over the killing of young engineering student Danish Rashid and a young lady Shaista Hameed who were killed in forces action after they opened fire near encounter site in Lelhaar area of Pulwama on Sunday.
Mir was rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar and is being treated upon.
