Member of Rajya Sabha and senior Peoples Democratic Party leader Fayaz Ahmad Mir on Tuesday staged a protest against the Pulwama killings inside the Parliament premises at Delhi.
Reports said that soon after the proceedings of Rajya Sabha started PDP MP Fayaz Ahmad Mir staged a protest against the killings.
Mir was seen holding a poster which reads “Stop Killings in Kashmir” and also wearing a T-shirt reading, “Stop Killing in Kashmir, Stop Bloodshed in Kashmir.”
Mir’s protest comes a day after PDP protests inside Secretariat Jammu and Kashmir over the killings.
On Saturday, seven civilians were killed after forces opened fire on protesters near the site of a gunfight in Sirnoo village of Pulwama, triggering widespread protests and condemnations.
