Qazi Hussain Is No More, Geelani Leaving For Pakistan In A Couple Of Days

Chairman Hurriyat Conference(G) Syed Ali Geelani is leaving for Pakistan to offer his condolence to the bereaved family of Qazi Hussain Ahmad, who passed away Sunday early the morning.

“Qazi Sahab was a great soul and a powerful supporter of the Kashmir movement, Geelani Sahab is  going to condole the bereaved family. We have been told that a Tatkal passport will be provided to Geelani Sahab and other members of the delegation, so we hope that within a couple of days or more Geelani Sahab will be leaving for Pakistan,” Ayaz Akbar, spokesman of Hurriyat (G) told Kashmir Life.

During his visit Syed Ali Geelani is proposed to meet close relatives of late leader  and other Jamat- e- Islami leaders in Pakistan. Spokesman added.

Meanwhile acting Chairman and General Secretary Tehreek e Hurriyat, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai   will lead the funeral prayers in absentia at Eid Gah Old barzalla at 2pm on January 7.
