The ministry of road transport & highways, government of India, association of State Road Transport undertakings, New Delhi has adjudged Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation(JKSRTC) for a special award for operating public transport under severe geographical conditions for the year, 2011-12
In the 57th Annual Conference of State Transport undertaking at New Delhi on January 3, 2013, the award was presented by A.K. Uphadav, Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, government of India to J.S.Tandon, Managing Director, JKSRTC .
