The first batch of 185 Iran-returned pilgrims and students reached here on Tuesday in a special Indian Air Force (IAF) flight after undergoing quarantine in Rajhastan.
An official said that at least 185 Iran-returned pilgrims and students reached Srinagar airport today late evening after undergoing quarantine in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur.

He said that after the proper screening they will be sent home by the administration.
Taking to social networking site Twitter, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary wrote: “It feels so good to be able to bring good news and it happens rarely. Flights carrying many stranded pilgrims/students (Iran returnees) are about to touch base in Srinagar n they will be headed home after screening. Teams to facilitate transport.”
