Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Liberation Party (JKDLP) Hashim Qureshi today went through the Triple vein bypass surgery at the hospital in Delhi and the surgery took six hours to complete.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), spokesman JKDLP said that Qureshi had three vital veins blocked and that the surgery was today carried out at Maidanta Hospital located at Gurgaon New Delhi. “The surgery started at 9 in the morning and was completed at 2P.M today.”

The party spokesman further stated that Qureshi has been shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and that the doctors have advised him to take at least 3 week rest and only after that he could be discharged from the hospital.

Pertinently, doctors earlier had declared that the JKDLP chairman is suffering from the cardiac ailment and that his three vital veins are blocked
